Mec-Gar has introduced an upgraded 19-round Sig Sauer P226 X5 magazine in 9 mm Luger. The magazine consists of a 17-round tube with Mec-Gar’s new aluminum +2 basepad installed, which includes a front grip for easier removal of the magazine. Each magazine is constructed from carbon steel, and is heat-treated for strength. Mec-Gar’s proprietary anti-friction coating covers the exterior, designed to make loading and unloading the magazine easier. The magazines have been tested to fit into competition boxes, and come with witness holes for remaining-round calculation. Each magazine retails for $65. For more information, check out mec-gar.com.
