Marty Daniel’s Daniel Defense grew out of a passion for quality, and a need for innovation to overcome real-world obstacles in firearm design—specifically the AR-15. Daniel Defense soon blossomed, staking their claim in the industry by providing consumers with feature-rich products of considerable design, based on accuracy, modularity and dependability. With a focus on innovation, Daniel Defense transitioned from a manufacturer of semi-automatic AR-15-style rifles into bolt-action precision rifles. The Delta 5, a Daniel Defense bolt-action rifle, features a user-configurable stock made of carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer and designed to accommodate the company’s own unique switch-barrel receiver. Chambered for 6.5 mm Creedmoor or .308 Win., the Delta 5 utilizes the company’s own cold-hammer-forged stainless steel barrel contoured around a Heavy Palma design, and threaded at the muzzle for accessories. The Delta 5 feeds from AICS-pattern magazines and provides an adjustable Timney single-stage trigger, but these are just a few of the rifle's features.
