FN America is offering three free magazines to customers who purchase any new FN 509 pistol between July 1 and August 31, 2017. Customers residing in states that require limited-capacity magazines will be eligible to receive 10-round capacity magazines, whereas all other purchases are eligible to receive standard, 17-round capacity magazines.

"The FN 509 comes with two magazines, either in 10 or 17 rounds," said Tom Scott, director of marketing for FN America, LLC. "This promotional offer will give our customers a total of five magazines, making it easier to participate in training courses that typically require five mags and ensuring that more time is spent shooting rather than loading mags on the range."

The FN-exclusive magazine design features an all-metal magazine body with a polymer base pad, available in either a 10- or 17-round capacity. All magazines are coated with a proprietary compound that increases the longevity and durability of the magazines over time. Magazines retail for $49 for a total promotional value of $147.

The FN 509 is FN's latest striker-fired 9 mm duty handgun and is a further development of the company's effort to produce a contender for the U.S. Army's Modular Handgun System (MHS). The FN 509 features the signature cold hammer-forged barrel, aggressive cocking serrations, enhanced grip textures, guarded controls, recessed target crown on the barrel and glow-in-the-dark high-profile sights.
