Smith & Wesson entered the striker-fired polymer handgun market back in 2006 with the introduction of the M&P, and now a decade later the manufacturer has introduced the second generation of this highly successful line. Upgrades made to the M&P M2.0 include an improved trigger with a lighter pull weight and a more distinct reset, more aggressive texturing on the handgun’s grip surfaces, four interchangeable backstrap inserts instead of three and the addition of front slide serrations.
