Wilson Combat has added to its X-TAC Elite pistol series with a Carry Comp model, which features an exclusive compensator design for reduced muzzle flip and reduced perceived recoil.

Available in 9 mm and .45 ACP, the one-piece billet-machined compensator has no threads or joints that could loosen, while the short profile fits any standard, full-size 1911 holster. The Carry Comp barrel upgrade is also available on any 4" barreled 9 mm or .45 ACP Wilson Combat pistol.

The pistol features Bill Wilson's scientifically designed X-TAC tread pattern, which works with dry or wet hands and with or without tactical gloves, offering solid traction and high-round-count shooting comfort. Additionally, it combines performance options like the one-piece Bullet Proof Magwell with carry options like a concealment hammer and grip safety. Other options include top and rear-of-slide serrations that help to reduce glare; machined carry cuts; ball endmill cuts; and a heavy machined bottom slide chamfer that enhances cosmetics, streamlines profile and reduces sharp edges. The pistol is available in several color combinations, with MSRP starting at $3,850.
