As Stag Arms was the pioneer in building left-hand versions of the AR-15 and is what they are most known for, it only made sense that the company would build one for 3-gun competition—particularly after it formed its own 3-gun team. The Stag Arms Model 3GL is that gun, but non-southpaws need not fear— there is a right-hand version available for every model the company manufacturers. Founded in May 2003, the goal was to manufacture reliable, 100 percent American-made competitively priced mil-spec ARs.

Watch this American Rifleman TV feature segment filmed at Stag Arms' New Britain, Conn., headquarters, as company founder Mark Malkowski gives us a factory tour and tells us what makes these guns better than the average AR.
