Cabela’s will once again team with the National Rifle Association to host an in-store NRA Weekend of Events on Sat., Sept. 13 and Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014. The weekend will include a series of firearm safety courses, educational workshops, in-store product demonstrations and more.

As an annual event, the NRA will renew memberships and sell new memberships throughout the weekend. Anyone who signs up for or renews a $35 membership will receive a $25 Cabela’s gift certificate.

Free workshops and demonstrations on a variety of topics will be offered all weekend. Topics include firearm safety, selection, fitting and concealment, ammunition selection, storage solutions for your firearms and ammunition, as well as choosing the right rifle sight and optic.

In addition, a few specific courses will include personal protection inside the home, concealed-carry questions and answers, situational awareness, non-lethal self-defense, introduction to basic pistol and many more courses. Join certified NRA instructors in a comfortable and fun environment to learn the basics of firearms, target shooting and self-defense.
