OutWest Systems has introduced a training system that provides feedback on individual shots to provide insight for improving marksmanship.

Using a firing pin activated laser, the system allows shooters to track hits using an included camera that sends images to a computer. The program shows all target hits, as well as line tracing of each shot showing any movement of the firearm as it was fired.

The system can be used for friendly competition among shooters and it can be converted to live fire. The basic kit includs the OCAT software package, camera, camera mount and target package for $495.
