Winchester Ammunition has 160 years of delivering reliability and performance in its products, but there’s another reason for the enviable longevity. Its generosity toward the community is just as unfailing, a fact that showed in two of the company’s March announcements.

Children/Families Facing Health Challenges
Winchester and White Flyer—part of the Winchester family of firms—announced their 27th year of support of the Kids & Clays Foundation. They will be providing ammunition, targets and merchandise for Kids & Clays events across the country.

“Kids & Clays is an organization that has set the standard for utilizing the positivity of the shooting sports to support and further the outstanding work of Ronald McDonald House,” said Jason Gilbertson, senior director of marketing for Winchester Ammunition. “It is an honor to contribute to and be associated with Kids & Clays and that we can help further the mission of helping critically ill children.”

Each year, Winchester and White Flyer donate thousands of dollars of ammunition, targets and merchandise to support Kids & Clays events throughout the United Sates. The local Ronald McDonald House Charities keep 100 percent of the net proceeds from each event. Kids & Clays has grown from tens of thousands of dollars in fundraising in 1999 to having net more than $49 million for participating Ronald McDonald Houses as of 2026.

Military, Spouses & Family
The company also made a $100,000 pledge to Folds of Honor for 2026. For the sixth consecutive year, Winchester is supporting the organization’s mission to provide educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled U.S. military service members and first responders. Since 2021, Winchester Ammunition has contributed more than $500,000 to Folds of Honor.

In 2021, Winchester introduced its USA Valor series of ammunition that pays tribute to Folds of Honor, the U.S. military and first responders. Since its launch, more than 200 million rounds of USA Valor ammunition have been sold in boxes featuring the Folds of Honor logo in support of their mission.

“Supporting Folds of Honor for the sixth consecutive year is a source of immense pride for our organization,” Gilbertson said. “Winchester remains committed to our heritage of supporting the U.S. military throughout the world.”
