A concealed-carry permit holder was approached in the southwest side of Chicago by a man carrying a gun one Monday afternoon. Upon walking into an apartment alley, the would-be mugger approached the permit-holder and produced a handgun. At that point, the intended victim produced his own firearm and shot his assailant. The man later died of his injuries, while the permit-holder escaped unscathed. (Fox 32, Chicago, Ill., 6/2/19)
