The Armed Citizen Extra
A heroic Chicago citizen aided in saving a Cicero police officer's life when he helped police return fire on an assailant charging and firing at them. The shooter had already hit one officer four times when the armed citizen jumped into action, exiting his vehicle and shooting at the suspect. The suspect was hit once, and taken to the hospital in serious condition. (Chicago Tribune, Chicago, Ill., 09/15/2018)
