A man was standing outside his vehicle one morning when two men, one armed with a handgun, approached him demanding his keys. The victim, who had a valid concealed-carry license, pulled out his gun and fired, striking one of the criminals. The wounded robber was taken to a hospital while the other managed to run away, but was later apprehended by police. (Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago, IL, 5/10/17)

Rev. James Teamer of Charlotte, N.C., and his wife, awakened by a disturbance, discovered the lights were not working.
