An armed citizen in Trenton, Mo., used his concealed firearm to help assist an officer in need. After an alert group of men noticed an armed inmate attempting to force an officer with a stomach wound to drive them somewhere, they worked together to stop the act. One of the group had a concealed carry pistol, which he used to detain the inmate by pointing it at his head, while the rest of the group restrained the inmate on the ground. The officer was transported to a nearby hospital for surgery. (KCTV5.com, Trenton, Mo., 7/15/19)
