Armed Citizen® Today

In Harris County, Texas, on the night of July 3, two men got into an argument outside a business. One of the men then got into his vehicle and attempted to run over the second man. The second man fired one shot at the assailant, striking him through the windshield and causing the vehicle to crash.

The armed defender remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators; the driver was transported to the hospital but died of his injuries. (click2houston.com; Houston, Texas; 7/3/26)

From the Armed Citizen® Archives – May 8, 1987

Two men entered John Comer's West Knox County, Tenn., drug store and pulled revolvers on the owner, demanding money. Comer opened the cash register, ducked behind a counter where he hit an alarm alerting deputies, grabbed his .38 Spl. revolver and came up firing at the men. The would-be robbers fled the store.
