The Armed Citizen Extra
An Ohio steelworker used a handgun to defend his home. When a man twice his size broke through his glass-paneled door with a shovel, the homeowner took refuge behind a refrigerator and trained a handgun on him. When the man approached him despite admonitions to stop, the homeowner fired, hitting the burly intruder in the arm. The wound did not immediately stop the man, who asked "What size gun is that?" as he again approached the homeowner before collapsing from his wound. The homeowner was quoted as saying he was glad he only wounded the man, and did not have to kill him. (The Vindicator, Youngstown, Ohio, 11/20/18)
