“Smith & Wesson is proud to contribute a Collector’s 1854 Rifle and Model 29 Revolver set to this year’s National NRA Foundation Banquet,” said Kyle Tengwall, Smith & Wesson vice president of marketing. “We support the foundation’s mission of preserving core American values and traditions in a steadfast effort to Teach Freedom. We are pleased that our donation will assist in raising funds for this important cause.”

The collector’s set, number 32 of 100, was one of the featured items during the 2025 National NRA Foundation Banquet & Auction in Atlanta, Ga., that kicked off the 2025 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits. In-person bidders and those from miles away via Gunbroker.com had s chance to compete for this unique item.

The collector’s set included a Smith & Wesson Model 1854 and Smith & Wesson Model 29 revolver, each wearing timeless artwork from Baron’s Engraving. Both guns were chambered in .44 Mag., marked as number 32 of 100 produced and had 22-karat gold inlay. A striking display case completed the classic-looking package.

“This auction showcases not only an exclusive piece from Smith & Wesson but also the strength of our community’s support for the future of shooting sports in America,” said James ‘JP’ Carter, executive director, NRA Office of Advancement.

Online bidding remained live until April 25, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. EST. Top online bidders were contacted in advance and received real-time updates from a GunBroker.com team member during the live auction, ensuring they stayed competitive with bids from the audience in Georgia.

The collector’s set was made possible through the donation by Smith & Wesson and drew national interest. The 2025 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits—the organization’s 154th—drew more than 77,000 people.

The 2026 gathering of Second Amendment supports takes place in Houston, Texas, in April.
