Drawing obvious external design influences from Springfield's XD line of handguns, the PX-9, new from Zenith Firearms, nonetheless differs in several respects. Gone are the grip and trigger safeties, while a frame-mounted, bilateral thumb safety has been added. The full-size semi-automatic is chambered in 9 mm Luger, measures 7" long with a 4" barrel, has bilateral magazine release buttons and a magazine capacity of 15 rounds.
