Frame-mounted units made in America and CNC machined from either 1018 steel or 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, Match Weight offers a line of compensators to accommodate a broad assortment of modern Heckler & Koch semi-automatics (including the VP9, shown). By adding weight to the host firearm’s front end—the steel model weighs 12 ozs. while the aluminum version adds 4 ozs.—the compensator helps counteract and minimize the muzzle rise inherent to pistol recoil. Installed in only minutes with the included Allen key, the Match Weight Compensator is available either with or without a four-slot section of Picatinny rail along its bottom surface. Price: $195 (aluminum), $350 (steel). For more information, visit matchweight.com.
