Heckler & Koch is now selling conversion kits that allow VP9 owners to transform their stock 4.09”-barreled pistols into longslide, competition-ready 5” models. Shipping as a complete slide assembly—with the slide, barrel and recoil spring assembly included—the VP9L Slide Conversion Kit can be installed in seconds by simply fieldstripping the gun and replacing the factory parts with the aftermarket kit. In addition to the extra barrel length and increased sight radius, the kit’s slide bears eight lightening cuts in lieu of forward slide serrations, plus one more just forward of the dustcover, and replaces the original’s three-dot sights with an LPA fully-adjustable-rear/fiber-optic-front combo. This conversion kit retails for $450. For more information, please visit hk-usa.com.
