Despite its 12" blade of 0.250"-thick 1095 steel, the TOPS El Chete comes in at only 29.5 ozs. with a balance and ergonomics that help it make quick work of clearing shooting lanes or building shelters.

The blade is coated in a midnight bronze finish that aesthetically complements its hand-filling black/red/earthtone layered canvas Micarta scales, each of which features a bow drill divot.

A pronounced choil incorporated into the ricasso and handle aids choking up on the knife for fine work, and two holes in the extended tang accommodate a lanyard.

A front-opening Kydex sheath with snap-secured retention strap, available with either a rotating metal belt clip or leather dangler, is included.

MSRP is set for $380. For more information, visit topsknives.com.
