Forrest Tool Company MAX

Like a traditional pioneer kit, but with the versatility of a pocket multi-tool, the MAX by Forrest Tool Co. is so capable that it is standard-issue on Army Light Tactical Vehicles.

The American-made MAX has a shock-absorbing 34" composite polyglass handle and a 3-lb., 8-oz., Hudson Bay-pattern, forged-steel axe head that features a striking surface and an integral socket to which the following can be affixed: shovel, pick, broad pick, mattock blade and McLeod combination rake/hoe. Six lock pins are included along with an embossed leather sheath and a Velcro-closing Cordura nylon carrying case that slides onto the handle, allowing the whole kit to be carried with one hand.

MSRP is $250 and available colors are discreet olive drab or safety-minded yellow/red (handle/attachments). For more information, please visit forresttool.com.
