FFLs were busy across the nation on Black Friday, with the FBI processing 192,749 National Instant Criminal Background System checks (NICS) in the 24-hour period—up 2.8 percent from last year. The volume placed the day No. 3 in bureau’s top-10 busiest. The week leading up to that unofficial launch of holiday-shopping season the Bureau’s West Virginia facility (seen above) handled 711,372 NICS requests.

There is no shortage of post-Black Friday deals. Judging by the ongoing deals, gun and gear makers have no intention of losing that momentum. Here’s a few to ponder if you, like the entire staff at American Rifleman, have yet to begin shopping. The list is far from comprehensive, so look around and consider these few we’ve sorted alphabetically:

Alien Gear Holsters is offering a variety of special prices on its web shop, including a free mag holder with the purchase of any holster.

Bear Creek Arsenal is holding a 12 Days of Christmas sale.

Beretta is offering a special pricing on new APX A1 pistols with a factory-installed Burris Fastfire 3 optic and optic plate. Retail value is $830, but a visit to your local Beretta direct location allows you to take advantage of the limited-time pricing.

Purchase a Burris Fullfield IV riflescope and you qualify for a $25 online rebate.

Buy a new CZ-USA Scorpion EVO or Scorpion 3+ and you qualify to receive a free backpack and a pair of 30-round magazines. You can also receive a $50 rebate with the purchase of a CZ P-07, P-09 or P-10.

“Federal Ammunition The First 100 Years” coffee table books have an MSRP of $59.99, but this holiday season they are available for only $39.99 by visiting this web page.

Galco Holsters is still offering 20-percent off sitewide with code BF22, although it’s listed as a Black Friday promotion—so you’d better hit that “buy” button fast.

Heritage Manufacturing is running a $30 rebate on its Rough Rider and Barkeep revolvers, as well as its Rancher Carbine.

Magpul’s online shop is offering up to 75 percent off on select T-shirts, hats, belts and a variety of wear. Visit the company’s holiday sale announcement for full details.

Rainier Arms also has pages of ongoing deals for the holiday.

Rock River Arms will provide enthusiasts with five free 30-round magazines with the purchase of any new RRA 5.56/.223-compatible rifle, pistol, complete lower receiver assembly, or complete upper receiver assembly. The $80 value is redeemable online.

Ruger and Marlin have slashed prices by up to 60 percent on select items.

Sightron’s Holiday Instant Rebate saves up to $240 on select models of the company’s S-TAC series of riflescopes.

SilencerCo’s end-of-the-year suppressor promotion means any customer who purchases one of the company’s qualified suppressors will receive a $200 SilencerCo Store coupon. Full details and models are available online.

Smith & Wesson is offering $50 bucks back on select M&P Shield EZ pistols.

SnapSafe, a Hornady company, is giving a 10 percent discount on its most popular modular safes.

Buy any new Stoeger Industries STR-9 pistol, chambered in 9 mm Luger, and you can qualify for a $50 rebate.

Purchases of a new Taurus G-series pistol chambered in 9 mm NATO qualify for a $50 rebate on GX4 and GX4XL pistols and a $25 rebate on qualified G2C, G3, G3C, G3X, and G3XL pistols. Full details are here.

Trijicon has extended its $100 consumer rebate on the Trijicon RMRcc.

Buy a Zero Tech riflescope, red-dot or binocular from any authorized dealer in the United States, and you’ll be getting either $50 or $100 cash back, depending on model.

Bear in mind, some of the promotions and rebates may expire at different times. So if you find a deal on that special gift for someone on your shopping list, its best to buy early before inventory is gone—or you wind up fighting crowds rivaling those of Black Friday.
