NRA Gun Gear of the Week: VZ Grips Slim Line Stocks

By using durable, manufactured G10 material, VZ Grips has been able to outfit the venerable 1911 pistol with grip panels significantly slimmer than those made of wood, ivory or other traditional materials. Some shooters may find the reduced grip circumference a more comfortable and controllable proposition, but there are some component-related considerations to account for before slimming down. American Rifleman’s Joe Kurtenbach recently made the swap, and shares his insight in this week's NRA Gun Gear of the Week video above.
