At 14x11x5 inches, Filson’s U.S.-made, medium-size Oil Finish Field Bag accommodates a useful quantity of sundries, yet rides conformingly out of the way on the hip opposite the shoulder over which it is slung.

The bag is mainly of Tin Cloth, but makes use of nylon where necessary for additional water resistance—notably in the web handle and shoulder straps and in the taffeta inner lining. A full-width rear pocket, two expandable front pockets and end pockets make the Field Bag adaptable and useful as a minimalist hunting, range or town bag. Price: $135.
