Remington has launched the new RP family of polymer-frame, striker-fired semi-automatic pistols offering a host of features designed to satisfy the needs of law enforcement personnel and home defenders. The first model is the RP9, a duty-size 9 mm Luger that accepts 18-round, flush-fit, double-stack magazines. The 4.5" barrel is rated for +P ammunition. Other features include a set of interchangeable grip backstraps, three-dot sights, and a PVD-finished slide with front and rear cocking serrations and an accessory rail. The similarly appointed RP45, chambered in .45 ACP, will come with 15-round magazines and will be available later in the year. remington.com
