Browning has introduced a new iteration of its T-Bolt rifle for 2021—the new T-Bolt Target with Muzzle Brake. The new rifle gives target shooters and conservationists a highly capable straight-pull rimfire rifle. Offering accuracy-boosting features that enhance the gun’s ability on target and in the field, the T-Bolt Target with Muzzle Brake is available in three rimfire chamberings: .22 Long Rifle, .22 WMR and .17 HMR.

Beginning with a tried-and-true, straight-pull action, Browning fitted its latest T-Bolt with a heavy-contour barrel cut to 16.5” for overall compactness and efficiency. In addition, the supplied 1/2"x28 t.p.i. muzzle threading allows the company to supply the new T-Bolt with a radial compensator to mitigate recoil and muzzle rise. The threaded muzzle allows for the use of accessories such as a direct-mount silencer. Browning also provides its T-Bolt receiver drilled-and-tapped for scope mounts. The steel receiver and barrel are blued to provide a classic finish that with a matte appearance to reduce glare.

Walnut wraps this latest T-Bolt to provide an interface that is sculpted to fit shooters. A Monte Carlo comb was added for improved and consistent head position. A wide-bottom fore-end was included for increased stability from offhand to bench-style shooting and provides the barrel with ample room for cooling and unobstructed function. Checkering is included at the wrist and fore-end with traditional styling cut to 20 l.p.i. Completing the stock are two sling studs and a satin finish.

Browning supplies a 10-round, Double Helix magazine to feed its T-Bolt with Muzzle Brake that attaches just forward of the gold-plated trigger. A composite trigger guard is supplied, too. All told, the Browning T-Bolt with Muzzle Brake tips the scales at 6 lbs., 2 ozs., with an overall length of 34.75” and commands a suggested retail price of $740.
