Sellmark Corporation broke ground early this month on construction for a 50,000-square-foot building at its international headquarters, which is located in Mansfield, Tex., part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. “Mansfield has been a fantastic community to grow our business,” according to CEO James Sellers. “This city has been wonderful for our employees and their families, and we can’t wait for this next phase of development.”

Meanwhile, High Speed Gear (HGSI) needs to add staff for its recently leased 15,000-square-foot facility in Windsor, NC. While space is being renovated and machinery installed, the company is hosting a job fair on Feb. 17.

“Bertie County is excited to welcome High Speed Gear to Windsor,” said Steve Biggs, Bertie County economic development director. “High Speed Gear has proven to be a great corporate neighbor in Swansboro, NC, providing good jobs with great benefits. After working with them over the past few months on their expansion, I can only say great things about HSGI. They have followed through on every promise made. High Speed Gear’s reputation for customer service, and their commitment to their employees is the type of company that all developers seek out for their communities. We look forward to our citizens being able to start a new career with High Speed Gear.”

Texas officials also recognize the economic impact of Sellmark. Mansfield Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Lori Williams stated, “This move further propels Sellmark as one of the best employers in the city, if not the whole region.”

Sellmark includes Sightmark, Pulsar and other familiar firearm firms in its stable of companies. Its new two-story building will feature exclusive conference rooms, a large showroom, two weight rooms, cardio machines, a yoga room, basketball court, luxury cafeteria, a breakroom, café, coffee bar, covered patio, observation balcony, nature trails, a wellness center for employees and other amenities.
