With the growing popularity of red-dot-equipped handguns, SIG Sauer recognized a need to incorporate such sighting systems into their SIG AIR line of training guns and accessories. The resulting SIG AIR Reflex Sight is a dedicated option designed to mount on the company's M17, PROFORCE M17 and M18 airsoft pistols. This allows owners of RDS-equipped SIG handguns to set up their airsoft training rig the same way they run their guns, providing a one-to-one platform that can be used for at-home skill-building.

Each SIG AIR Reflex Sight is built on a low-profile housing similar to SIG's line of firearm-ready red-dot sights. The 1x23 mm sight provides a large field of view, in the middle of which sits a 3-MOA red dot. The unit features manual brightness control, provided by a button located on the front of the sight housing. The optic provides six illumination settings, so shooters can manually adjust to match their ambient training conditions.

Windage and elevation adjustments are provided on the SIG AIR Reflex Sight, located on the right side and top-rear areas of the housing. The housing is machined from aluminum and built with a shock-proof design that ensures durability. However, SIG AIR notes that the optic is designed for use on select air guns and airsoft products only and is not designed to handle the stresses encountered on firearms.

The SIG AIR Reflex Sight ships with airsoft and air gun mounting plates, making it easy to add the optic to your compatible training tool. Paired with a SIG AIR airsoft training gun, this reflex sight can ensure you build your red-dot shooting skills without having to head to the range or expend valuable ammunition.

Suggested retail pricing on the SIG AIR Reflex Sight is $49.99. For more information, visit sigsauer.com.
