A pizza-shop owner in Wissinoming, Penn., who was legally authorized to carry a firearm for personal defense, was working at his business late on an evening in early April when he defended himself from a would-be robber, police say.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., a 16-year-old man armed with a gun came into the shop and attempted to rob the owner at gunpoint. The shop owner was carrying his CCW gun at the time and shot the man in the top of the left hand.
The man was transported to an area hospital by a private vehicle, and authorities say the suspect is currently in custody.(FOX 29, Wissinoming, Penn. 04/05/2020) From the Armed Citizen® Archives October 1962
