Armed Citizen® Today

An armed citizen in Wichita Falls, Tex., defended himself with his firearm when an assailant tried to attack him with a knife in an alleyway on Dec. 1, 2020.

The man went to work that Tuesday morning at the Carniceria Los Cuates grocery store when he found a suspicious man standing in the alley near the building. He told the loitering man that he needed to leave. In response, the suspicious man attempted to assault the man. The assailant tried to punch the man, so the man pushed the assailant a couple of times to avoid being hit.

The assailant then pulled a knife from his pocket. In response to the deadly threat, the man drew his pistol from its holster and called for authorities. The man then held the assailant at gunpoint, without firing, until police arrived on the scene. The assailant was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. (timesrecordnews.com

"Give me all the money you have here," demanded a man armed with a big knife of Cleveland, Ohio, van lines clerk, Patricia Cawthon. Mrs. Cawthon walked calmly to a nearly closet, picked up a snub nosed automatic pistol, turned to the knife wielding bandit and said: "Where do you want it?" The thief ran out the door.
