CMC Triggers released a new aftermarket slide for Glock striker-fired handguns: the Kragos. The Kragos Glock compatible slide draws its name from the Lycian equivalent of the Greek god Zeus. CMC Triggers manufactures the Kragos slides in-house out of CNC-machined 17-4 stainless steel billet. The Kragos slides are machined to tighter tolerances than stock Glock slides, resulting in more consistent barrel lockup and improving accuracy potential.

The breech faces are also precision wire-EDM-cut. The slides are heat-treated to H900 42-44RC Rockwell hardness. Kragos slides are coated with a Diamond-Like-Carbon (DLC) finish, which provides added corrosion resistance and resistance to wear and tear. The DLC finish also provides a desirable combination of low friction coefficient along with high micro hardness. This ensures smooth function of the slide while also reducing wear in contact areas between moving parts.

The Kragos also features enlarged wraparound scalloped serrations at both the front and rear of the slide which provide secure grip. The edges of the slide feature a 45-degree chamfer to ease holstering and reduce the chances of a snag when going in and out of the holster. The Kragos slides comes with standard Glock sight cuts and are compatible with aftermarket Glock iron-sight options.

The slides come from CMC with tritium night sights pre-installed. Kragos slides are also pre-cut for popular handgun-compatible micro-reflex sights from Trijicon, SOUSA and Holosun. The reflex-sight footprints come with a removable, screw-on cover that also features scalloped cuts, if no optic is desired.

The Kragos slide is compatible with the Glock G17 and Glock G19 Gen 3 frames, along with all Gen 3 parts and accessories. The Kragos slides also come with a CMC Triggers' lifetime warranty. The suggested retail price of both the Glock G17 and G19 version of the Kragos is $550. For more imformation on the CMC Triggers Kragos Glock-compatible slides, visit cmctriggers.com.
