Holosun built on the success of its V2 series of optics by incorporating a number of technological updates into an entirely new series of micro red-dot sights. The Holosun X2 series of optics are designed to improve user control in the field, thereby enhancing the abilities of today's modern shooters.

One of the biggest upgrades found in Holosun's X2 line of optics is the incorporation of the Lock Mode. This particular feature first appeared on the company's law-enforcement models in 2018, and now, it's available in the X2.

When activated, the Lock Mode prevents any unintentional changes from occurring while the optic is mounted on a carry gun. Even if users press into the buttons on the side of the optic housing, the mode will prevent any brightness or power settings from being adjusted without the user's knowledge.

Combined with Lock Mode, the Holosun X2 line of red-dot optics also features an all-new button configuration that allows changes to be made more easily. In addition, the sights also feature a side-mounted battery tray that allows for fast, easy replacement, even when the optic is mounted to your preferred firearm. That way, there's no need to re-zero your gun after a battery change.

The sights also feature Holosun's Solar Failsafe backup, which provides enough power to the dot to enable use in sunlight. The optics are also available with the company's Shake Awake technology, which keeps the sights powered down until motion is detected. Combined with the X2's low power usage, all of these features combine to provide incredibly long battery life, so you'll be able to count on your red-dot sight when it counts.

All of the X2 upgrades are available in the Holosun HS507C and HS507K X2 series of optics, and the company plans to roll out other models through the end of 2020. For more information, visit holosun.com.
