The Great American Outdoor Show (GAOS) is always a hit among outdoorsmen and women. If you’ve not been to the show before, mark your calendars, and travel to Harrisburg, Pa., between Feb. 1 and Feb. 9, 2020. And if you have traveled to GAOS before, then you already know what amazing things are in store.

Between the NRA Foundation’s Wall of Guns raffle, Eddie Eagle Kid Zone and Kids Casting Contest, Friends of the NRA Banquet, DockDogs Competition and, to cap off the nine-day outdoor extravaganza, the NRA Country Concert, there is no shortage of activities and entertainment.

For those who want to increase their effectiveness in the field or on the range, don’t miss the host of seminars available to help enhance your outdoor skillset. These educational sessions are instructed by experts in their respective areas of interest.

GAOS also allows those who long to go on a dream hunt or the perfect fishing trip to book the opportunity of a lifetime thanks to the more than 400 world-class outfitters and boat captains who will be on the show floor.

Though there’s so much to see and do at GAOS, the exhibitor list can’t be forgotten. Nearly 1,000 companies, including industry leaders such as Colt, Smith & Wesson, Savage Arms, Ruger, Hoyt, Magpul and Foxpro Inc. will be present with representatives ready to discuss new products and to answer questions.

To make the most of your experience, visit the show’s official website (greatamericanoutdoorshow.org) where you can get help with planning your trip, buying tickets, booking hotels, making travel arrangements and more. And be sure to download the app to further enhance your experience at the world’s largest outdoor show.
