American Rifleman publishes videos weekly, and has contributed more than 2,500 of the total posted to the NRA Publications YouTube channel. In fact, we tabulated the aggregate time our followers have spent watching our videos since 2012 (the first year YouTube offered those stats), and it comes close to a whopping 114 years. While we concede it is a mind-boggling amount of minutes spent in front of the Tube, we in NRA Publications thank you, as we have worked diligently to provide relevant and informative, largely educational content. So what's trending in our videos so far in 2019? We checked in to see what's positioned at the top of the list. While a few focus on recently introduced guns, most were perennial favorites from the past decade that continue to resonate with a new audience. Check them out here:

First Look: MDT Hand Cannon Slingshot

Slingshots are fun, but they can also be a legitimate backup defensive tool—in 2023, a 13-year-old Michigan boy saved his 8-year-old sister from being kidnapped by using a $3 slingshot to fire a marble and a rock at the assailant, striking him in the chest and head.
