Designed with a reinforced pivoting mechanism, the American-made Quick Detach Heavy Duty XDS Bipod from GG&G is specifically intended for use on particularly large and heavy firearms. Built from hard-coat anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, the bipod secures to any MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail in seconds thanks to a quick-detach mount with a trigger-shaped release lever. The unit’s cant can be adjusted up to 25 degrees in either direction and the length of each leg can be independently deployed anywhere between 8” and 11”, as necessitated by the terrain, with tension knobs allowing the shooter to rapidly lock all three settings in the desired orientations.
