While the market abounds with strange models of firearms, particularly those intended for various military applications, few sights are stranger than that of the familiar M1 Garand firing fully automatic bursts of 7.62x51 mm. This however, is exactly the case with the Beretta BM-59E, a series of M1 Garands sent to Italy for conversion by the Argentine military.
