After a father and son saw a man pull a knife and threaten a woman during an attempted robbery, both drew their concealed handguns and put a quick end to the misdeed. The two armed citizens in Tyler, Texas, had been driving through a shopping center parking lot when they witnessed the trouble. With two guns aimed at him, the would-be robber gave up and got down on the ground. The armed citizens held him at gunpoint until the police arrived. (easttexasmatters.com, Tyler, TX, 3/12/17)

The Armed Citizen® Extra
Sometimes people are not the only ones you need to watch out for because animals can be just as aggressive. A young man was riding his skateboard through a neighborhood one afternoon with his dog on a leash when another dog got out of a nearby yard and attacked the man's dog. The dog then turned to attack the young man who drew his concealed-carry pistol and fired a round, striking the animal and killing it. A police sergeant said the man was justified in using deadly force against the aggressive dog. (Waco Tribune-Herald, Waco, TX,  5/8/17)

When all the customers had left the Fort Worth grocery and he had finished his soft drink, a young thug shoved proprietor W.H. Browne aside, brandished a pistol, and demanded that the store owner’s wife empty the register. Browne pulled a cal. 38 pistol from under his belt and shot the gunman dead.
