Israel Weapon Industries US (IWI) is introducing the DAN 338 Tactical Precision Rifle to the U.S. market this year. The DAN is the first bolt action rifle manufactured by IWI firearms and is held to the same standard of ruggedness and reliability as other offering. The fluted heavy, free floating, cold-hammer forged 28” barrel has a 1:10" twist with 5/8x24 TPI threaded muzzle. It meets primary requirements of a long-range rifle chambered for the .338 Lapua Magnum, namely, a sub-MOA level of accuracy. A full-length one piece Picatinny top rail with 20 MOA built-in canted drop supports the optic with additional rails for accessories. This rifle ships with an Atlas bipod, Borka torque wrench and a Dewey Chamber & Bore cleaning kit complete with a 44" Dewey cleaning rod. MSRP: TBA. For more, visit iwi.us.
