Long known for its stellar hunting optics, at SHOT Show 2017 Meopta USA instead introduced its newest tactical riflescope, the MeoTac 3-12X 50 mm. A sturdy first-focal-plane scope weighing 34.2 ozs. built within a 34 mm tube, the MeoTac features Meopta's MeoLux lens coating, which the company claims provides 99.8 percent light transmission per lens surface. Intended for medium-range engagements, the MeoTac offers a windage adjustment range of 55 m.o.a. and 100 m.o.a. of elevation adjustments, with a click value of 1/3 m.o.a., and the illuminated MilDot 3 RD reticle has 16 brightness settings and an auto-off function after one hour of inactivity.
