Made to slide into a Class III receiver hitch, the U.S.-made, injection-molded WeatherTech BumpStep by MacNeil provides owners of high-riding off-road rigs a leg up and helps protect the vehicle’s rear end when backing. With a 300-lb. (max.) rating, the step makes everyday tasks such as loading a roof rack much easier, and its ability to absorb minor impacts, even from other vehicles, without breaking could prevent expensive damage to a factory bumper or bodywork. The unit can be ordered with theft-deterrent hitch pins. Price: $50. Contact: WeatherTech; (800) 441-6287; weathertech.com.
