In response to customer requests, Ruger has introduced the Ruger American Rimfire rifle with a wood stock. The stock is made from a hardwood blank in Newport, N.H., and mated to the popular .22 LR bolt-action at the company's Mayodan, N.C., factory.

The stock hosts the same patent-pending Power Bedding integral bedding block system and free floated barrel as other rifles in the Ruger American Rimfire rifle family. It features front and rear sling swivel studs, a metal trigger guard, checkering on the grip and fore-end, and a rubber buttpad to make for a comfortable 13.75" length of pull.
