Vista Outdoor Inc. will break ground on its new global headquarters this summer at Station Park in Farmington City, Utah, the company has announced. Expected completion date is mid-2016.

“Vista Outdoor’s mission is to bring the world outside,” said Mark DeYoung, Vista Outdoor Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Utah is an epicenter for individual outdoor recreation and an outstanding place to do business." Emphasizing the state's talented and well-educated workforce and the quality of life it offers, DeYoung said that locating its corporate headquarters to northern Utah was a natural fit. The company is currently temporarily located in Clearfield, Utah.

Vista Outdoor, formerly The Sporting Group of Alliant Techsystems Inc, was formed in February 2015 after it spun off from its former corporate parent, ATK. The company, which is parent to many well-known outdoor brands such as Bushnell, Savage Arms and Federal Premium Ammunition and dozens of others became a stand-alone, publicly traded outdoor sports and recreation company.

The company operates in two segments, Shooting Sports and Outdoor Products, and has more than 30 well-recognized brands in the ammunition, firearm and outdoor accessories categories. For more, visit vistaoutdoor.com.
