Gregory Lindsey, 29, was at home when a group of six youths tried breaking into his home. Lindsey's teenage son was downstairs doing his homework at the time of the attempted break-in. Lindsey heard the suspects trying to force their way inside, so he retrieved his semi automatic .22 and confronted them. Upon seeing the firearm, the group scattered. No one was injured and no shots were fired during the incident. (Clickondetroit.com, Detroit, Mich., 3/31/14)
