This full-size .38 Spl.-caliber is a new, and very unique, offering from Taurus. The 85 View is made from forged-aluminum alloy with a titanium cylinder and barrel with a stainless insert for the sleeve. When fully loaded, the revolver weighs about 15 ounces. But that’s not what makes this gun unique. This small pistol is called the View because on the sight plate Taurus created a polycarbonate that allows the user to see the internal workings of the gun, purely for aesthetic appeal. The slight curvature on the back helps it to sit tight on your body, making it ideal for concealed carry. It features an MSRP of $599.
