Carrying a scoped handgun at the ready in the wilderness requires a rig that stays close to the body and is not prone to snagging in dense brush.

The Hunting Shoulder Holster from Elite Survival Systems accomplishes that task with a minimum of bulk by way of its stitched-through, multi-layer ballistic nylon construction.

Using flat webbing shoulder and waist straps, the holster is designed to be worn bandolier-style across the chest, and a hook-and-loop retention strap keeps the gun secured until it’s needed. A large pocket on the front keeps spare ammunition close at hand. One size accommodates most scoped pistol rigs. Price: $75.
