An armed citizen thwarted a robbery at a Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Atlanta, Ga., on the afternoon of March 9, 2021.

The incident occurred around 3 p.m. that Tuesday when a man entered the restaurant with a gun drawn, demanding cash from the workers. Several bystanders who witnessed the robbery attempted to stop him. One of the bystanders was an armed citizen, who engaged the armed robber.

The armed citizen drew a handgun and fired two shots at the armed robber and held him at gunpoint until Atlanta police arrived at the scene. The 23-year-old suspect was taken into custody and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. No charges are expected against the armed citizen. (wsbtv

NRA members Errol Galloway and Ralph Tolbert, both of West Grove, Pa., returned to their car after fox hunting to find another vehicle parked nearby and heard the sound of glass breaking. When they got closer, they saw a broken window and several items piled up outside the second car and two youths inside. They held the suspects at gunpoint until police arrived. The suspects were later charged with theft and three other counts. (Chester County Press, Oxford, Pa.)
