Shortly before midnight in April, a man was riding a rental scooter to a local store and driving through a parking lot in Tulsa, Okla. While exiting the parking lot, the man got into an argument with a woman and a teenaged boy seated in a parked car nearby. The man left the area and returned, throwing down his scooter and brandishing a knife. Acting quickly, the youth grabbed a concealed-carry gun in the vehicle and shot the other man in self-defense. The man died from his injuries. (tulsaworld.com, Tulsa, Okla., 4/30/19)

Armed Citizen Extra
A Memphis woman repelled a home invader one Sunday, landing him squarely in a nearby hospital. After the woman saw the man on her home security camera, he approached her door with the excuse that he was looking for someone. The woman quickly called the police, but before they could arrive, the man kicked in her front door, prompting the lady to shoot him twice. The intruder fled to a nearby hospital, where he was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary. (wreg.com, Memphis, Tenn., 5/9/3029)
