A would-be robber should have thought twice before attempting to rob two LSU student-athletes. After meeting the two students, who were attempting to sell an electronic item, the thief displayed a firearm and demanded they turn over their belongings. While watching TV in her Las Vegas, Nev., home, 80-year-old Gladys Cunningham heard the glass in her back door shatter. To men, one masked, were trying to force entry. Getting a gun, she fired a single shot that started the men running. (Las Vegas Review Journal, Las Vegas, Nev.)
