Armed Citizen® Today

A reported burglary in Tampa, Fla., ended poorly for the burglar when he confronted an armed resident early in the morning of July 6.

Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at Tampa's Palmetto Beach Community at 4:19 that morning. When they arrived, they found a suspect in his early 40s suffering from a gunshot wound. A resident at the house said the suspect had entered the home by breaking a window. Once inside, the resident confronted the burglar and shot him. The suspected burglar died of his wounds. (FOX 13 News; Tampa, Fla.; 7/6/24)
