It's finally in production—the XTM22 pistol from Armscor/Rock Island Armory. The Series 70-based 1911-style pistol was announced during the 2017 SHOT Show, and although it took a while to work out the bugs with the .22 Mag. magazine, the gun is in full production, and American Rifleman's Joe Kurtenbach was one of the first to line up to try it during the 2018 Industry Day at the Range.
